Fom Industrie together with Nuove Idee Nuove Imprese to promote innovation and local development
The 2025 edition of Nuove Idee Nuove Imprese (NINI), the business plan competition that for years has supported innovative entrepreneurial ideas by guiding them through a growth path of training, business culture, and strategic connections, has recently concluded.
The projects deemed most deserving by the Technical Scientific Committee were awarded financial contributions of €10,000 for the first place, €6,000 for the second, and €3,000 for the third, in addition to support services, incubation programs, and free membership for two years to Confindustria Romagna or the National Association of Sammarinese Industry.
As sponsor, Fom Industrie confirms its concrete commitment to supporting innovation and new businesses, recognizing in Nuove Idee Nuove Imprese a project capable of promoting talent and fostering territorial growth.

During the 2025 edition, Fom Industrie also established the Special Award “Federico Tamburini”, given to the project Zeno, the smart bin developed by a team that successfully combined technology, sustainability, and circular economy principles.
Every year, between 2.1 and 2.3 billion tons of waste are generated worldwide, much of it not properly disposed of, with high costs and a significant environmental and social impact. Zeno was created to address this challenge: an automated system capable of directing any type of waste into the correct container, eliminating human error and making the sorting process more efficient.
Designed for high-traffic environments such as fast food outlets, cafeterias, shopping centers, airports, hospitals, and ships, Zeno represents a concrete example of how innovation can translate into real solutions benefiting both the environment and communities.
Through its support of Nuove Idee Nuove Imprese, Fom Industrie renews its active role in the development of new ideas and businesses, contributing to the creation of an increasingly dynamic, sustainable, and future-oriented entrepreneurial ecosystem.
