Integration, automation, and performance: Dierre Group optimizes aluminum processing by choosing Fom solutions.
Dierre Group: industrial automation and process integration
Founded in Spezzano (MO) in 1997 and today operating with twelve plants in Italy, Dierre Group is an industrial group specializing in industrial automation and the production of systems for safety, movement, and material processing.
The company’s core business is the design and production of safety guards for automated machinery, complemented by a complete range of automation solutions: transport systems, conveyors, linear systems, Cartesian and anthropomorphic robots, and plastic processing.
As Antonio Gervasi, CEO, emphasizes: “We fully embrace everything industrial automation has to offer.”
At the heart of Dierre Group’s production is aluminum bar processing, a strategic process for the entire group, developed according to an integrated vision summarized in the company motto: “ONE GROUP. MORE SOLUTIONS.”
The challenge
The group’s growth and the expansion of its solution range presented a key challenge for Dierre Group: increasing production capacity and technical quality while ensuring efficiency, continuity, and integration with company systems. It was necessary to rethink the production process by reducing processing steps, optimizing times, and minimizing errors, in an industrial context characterized by high volumes and a wide variety of applications.
As Maurizio Debbia, Process Manager, highlights: “Switching to an automated line allowed us to optimize product throughput times because now each operation is completed in a single pass, rather than two as before.”
The solution
To face this evolution, Dierre Group chose to adopt Fom Industrie solutions across all its plants, integrating machinery, equipment, and digital systems into an advanced production ecosystem.
In particular, the introduction of the LMT 65 automated line represented a decisive technological leap:
“The main goal that led us to choose the LMT 65 automated line was the need to increase production capacity, but also the opportunity to enhance the technical quality of the product,” explains Maurizio Debbia.
Fom solutions have enabled Dierre Group to:
- increase productivity and processing quality
- reduce operational steps and process times
- improve integration between engineering and production departments
- decrease the risk of operational errors
- optimize scheduling and management of production flows
Customer feedback
For Dierre Group, Fom is a technological partner capable of combining advanced hardware, digital integration, and customer care.
Antonio Gervasi states: “We did a great job with Fom and we are very pleased.” Operationally, the collaboration stands out for the value of service and relationship: “The huge advantage of Fom Industrie is the consideration it gives to the customer, paying attention to all issues and requests.”
Maurizio Debbia adds: “We are extremely satisfied with Fom Industrie’s service: they are always present and available, not only technically but, most importantly, on a human level as well.”
This partnership now allows Dierre Group to face the market with a production process that is increasingly integrated, automated, and focused on industrial performance.
