Calco is Fom’s electropneumatic copy router to perform copying operations on aluminium profiles. Choose between the copying configuration and the Calco Ter version, with a three-spindle drilling unit that combines milling and drilling in a single workstation.

With a 12,000 rpm spindle, 2 top jigs, a pneumatic tracer and horizontal clamps with dual pressure, Calco offers direct and precise control over recurring machining operations. Calco Ter adds a three-spindle drilling unit with hydro-pneumatic feed. You can perform both copying and drilling operations on the same machine, reducing the number of passes and profile handling requirements. Option to work with both jigs or mechanical stops to maintain clear and consistent reference points, reduce the need for adjustments and minimise uncertain operations.     With the three-spindle unit, you can perform drilling operations without having to transfer the profile to another machine.

    Pre-set configurations ensure maximum efficiency on repetitive production sets, with 2 retractable longitudinal reference stops on the vertical plane, adjusted along the X axis.

  • Simple and accurate transversal adjustment

    Built-in transversal reference on the template, making the Y-axis positioning even more intuitive and straightforward.

  • Quick and precise height adjustment

    Optimal set-up speed and precision, with the Z-axis adjustment: in addition to the 8-position staggered stop, a pneumatic brake locks the tool exactly at the desired height.

Three-spindle drilling unit

Calco Ter’s 1.1 kW drilling unit is height adjustable from 10 to 90 mm with a manual handwheel, assisted by a digital display, for clear and repeatable settings.

Two processes in a single workstation

By combining a copy router and a drilling unit, you can copy mill and drill the profiles without having to transfer them to another machine.
