Mirage

Mirage is Fom’s range of single-head sawing machines with up-feed blade, for automatic 90-degree cuts. This range includes the Mirage, with Ø 400 mm blade and pneumatically operated bar feeder with 1,000 mm stroke, and the Mirage 600, with axis-controlled feeder compatible with Ø 400, Ø 500 o Ø 600 mm blades. Two levels of automation to cater for the most straightforward mass production runs and the most advanced machining operations on solid profiles, profile bundles, and different cross-sections.

FSTLine is the management software that allows users to complete all phases of machine programming using a single application, from programming of machining operations through to work list management. (on the Mirage 600)

Digital production management

The FSTLine on the Mirage 600 manages cutting lists, optimisation, cut pieces and the profile archive. Import your cutting list via a LAN network or through a flash drive. View the profiles in DXF format and manage label printing, to organize the entire cycle easily.

Production

Minimal lubrication with pure oil, for optimal cutting quality. Reduced drying or clean-up times after a cut.

Optimised cycle times

Adjustable blade exit position, based on the profiles you want to cut. The blade only makes the necessary movements, increasing your production speed.

Safe, comfortable and clean

Both versions feature a sound-proof integral guard system, with the option of installing a chip conveyor and fume extractor. On the Mirage, chips are collected in a specific drawer unit. While the Mirage 600 features a timer-controlled mechanism providing access to the blade compartment only after the machine has come to a complete stop.
