Spring

Spring is Fom’s range of single-head sawing machines with front blade, to deliver precise and reliable cuts. The range includes versions with Ø 450 mm and Ø 550 mm blades, and pneumatic or electronic tilt control, to cover simple and more complex machining operations. Spring combines a robust and user-friendly layout, and high cutting quality in all its configurations, featuring bar clamping, and profile surface and work area protection solutions.

  • Full range

    The Spring range includes four versions with complementary features: Spring 45 E and Spring 45 A with Ø 450 mm blade, Spring 55 and Spring 55 Theta with Ø 550 mm blade.

  • Head tilting, from simple to advanced control

    Easy to adjust intermediate settings, managed by mechanical stops and large vernier scales. The Spring 55 Theta features electronically-controlled intermediate settings.

  • Surface care

    Polished stainless steel vertical work table, enhances a smooth bar slide and protects the surfaces.

Available power

The Spring range is the only one of its kind to offer a 3.7 kW motor, for all cross-sections included in the cutting diagram. Clean, burr-free cuts, even on thick materials.

Production

Minimal lubrication with pure oil in the Theta version, for optimal cutting quality. Reduced drying or clean-up times after a cut.

Accessories and workshop installation

The Spring range has several optional accessories available to complete your machine configuration, such as minimum lubrication, vertical clamps (where applicable), roller tables on loading/unloading sides, and roller tables with length stop. With all the options available, you can develop a personalised solution, based on your own production layout and desired level of automation.

Fast processing

Oil-pneumatic blade feed in all versions, with adjustable feed rate and quick retraction.
