LT 600

The LT 600 produces custom-cut parts using a bar-loading system and a sawing machine with upworking blade extension. It is available in 11 different versions, with configurable loading/unloading magazine’s length and depth, and right or left material feed.

FSTLine is the management software for Fom throughfeed cutting centres. FSTLine allows users to complete all phases of machine programming using a single application, from programming of machining operations through to work list management.

The LT 600 is the ideal solution to make 90-degree cuts. It reaches extremely high levels of productivity, while still being extremely easy to use. With the 7.5 kW motor, the system can handle even particularly demanding cuts.

  • Unmanned work cycles

    The system can work for extended periods of time with minimal human intervention. The magazine handles up to 9 bars, including very heavy or highly flexible profiles.

  • Top-quality cut finish

    When the cut surface finish needs to be spot on, with the software-activated special operating mode, the blade separates from the piece after cutting it, to prevent any contact with it during the return strokes.

  • Cutting quality

    Production accuracy and repeatability are ensured by the axis-controlled bar feeder, which detects the profile’s presence and feeds it forward to launch the automatic cutting process according to the sequence listed.

Configurable blade

If you don’t need a Ø 600 blade diameter, you can choose between Ø 500 or Ø 400 when placing your order to optimise tool management.

Customisable unloading options

Choose between an unloading magazine with output tunnel and discharge box or a model with storage system when placing the order, based on your actual production needs.

Automatically controlled blade position

Software-controlled blade extension management, to adapt the stroke to the characteristics of the profile to be cut. No unnecessary movements, as the machine optimises the cycle and keeps the accuracy and quality levels consistent, even when processing different geometries.

Optimised blade speed

The blade extension speed can be adjusted and the quick retraction feature reduces downtime. Feed rate based on the profile geometry to ensure a stable, clean and repeatable cut.

Organized production and checks

The printer handles different barcode formats. This extremely fast unit located on the profiles unloading station makes the next processing stages faster and more organised.

Lightweight profile management

Adjustable clamping vices’ pressure to suit the geometry of the sections being cut, and keep even the lightest and most delicate profiles intact during the machining process.
